The Patriot Run, is a brand-new concept of run organized by Tun Hussein Onn Residential College, National University of Malaysia consists of 2 categories; Category A and Category B which includes the army elements at the same time charity element for everyone to enjoy!
Category A is a 10km with challenging track and the runners need to wear a uniform t-shirt to put some army element. Don’t worry, you will still receive our official t-shirt!. For those who don’t have any uniform t-shirt, you still can participate in this category with our official t-shirt. This track is more challenging than the other category, thus only the top three runners will get special medals with priceless prizes. Come and join this exciting event with us! Amazing prizes are to be anticipated as we open this event to 200 runners. Be the chosen one!
Category B is the first- of- its kind as we bring you cancer survivor from National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to run together with you in this campus! - The Organizer will not be responsible for any damage or loss to participants’ items on that day.
- The Organisers may, at their discretion refuse any entry, cancel or postpone the event without due notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances. No claims of any kind arising from abandonment, cancellation or postponement of the event shall be entertained.
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event race routes as the Organiser deems fit for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the Event, at any time without prior notice to the Participants. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participants prior to the date of the Event. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
- All successful entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-DEFERRABLE.
- All participants are to ensure that information submitted in the registration form is complete and accurate, otherwise the participant’s registration will be suspended or terminated.
- The organizer reserves the right to use any photography (including those of participants) recording during the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertisement and distribution to sponsors
- Participants are strongly advised to go for medical examination and/or to consult a medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual event day. It is the responsibility of every participant to ensure that they are fit and healthy to participate in the run without major morbidity.
- Our medical team has the sole and final authority to remove any participant from the event if the participant is deemed to be physically unfit to continue the event resulting in serious injury
- Our medical team will transport via appropriate vehicle the injured or sick participant to the nearest hospital in the case of emergency
- Participant taking part in this event at their own risk. The organizer shall not be liable for any injuries, loss and/or damages to property, whether personal or otherwise arising from training for or during the event.
- All participant below 12 years old, need to have an accompanying adult during the running event
- Children under 5 are not allowed to participate in any of the categories.
- It is recommended that all participants have personal accident and/or health insurance.
- The organizer reserves the right to delay the start of the run in the event of heavy rain or extreme weather condition/natural disaster. If the unfavorable weather condition persist after the delay, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the run without providing refunds. The organizer shall not be held responsible for any claims whatsoever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.
- Cut-off time for 5 km Fun Run and 10 km Competitive Run is 2 hours. Anyone who fails to complete the race beyond the cut-off time will be advised to be transported by “sweeper” vehicles to the finishing point.
- Goodies bags and medals will still be given out to all participants.
- The run is open to all Malaysians and foreigners.
- Change in sizes during collection of the race event tee is strictly not allowed. Participants must adhere to the race event tee sizes that they have registered for.
- For Student Price, please bring along all the Student Cards during race kit collection for verification only if you are enrolled in tertiary education.
- All collection of race kit can to be done during race kit collection and on event day
