Teach For Malaysia (TFM)

The Mid Valley City Charity Run 2019 will benefit Teach For Malaysia (TFM), an independent, non-profit organisation that is committed to ending education inequity in Malaysia. Children in less privileged communities do not have the same access to education opportunities. Teach For Malaysia believes every child can be a hero to their family and community, if they are given the chance to fulfill their full potential.

Teach For Malaysia recruits outstanding fresh graduates and young professionals to join our Fellowship Programme to teach full-time for 2 years in public schools serving underprivileged communities. We also work alongside our Alumni network to build an ecosystem of solutions at all levels of society.

Since its start in Malaysia over 8 years ago, Teach For Malaysia has impacted over 92,000 students in 120 schools across 10 states and with your participation, Teach For Malaysia is that much closer to giving all children in Malaysia an excellent education.
