MERDEKA CROSS COUNTRY RUN is organised by MesaMall (Nilai's No.1 Lifestyle Mall) & KOW KOW SPORT in conjunction of 62th Anniversary Merdeka Celebration.
It is located in Nilai District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The famous town mostly occupied by students estimated 30 countries all over the world.
The distance of 8KM, 15KM and 35KM flag off from the mall main entrance challenging runners through the cross country terrain around the town and Melati Hill (350M). It divided into few hills such as Centipede Hill, Monkey Hill, Cobra Hill, Eagle Hill and Mosquito Hill. For a steep area, a rope is provided to facilitate the climbing.
This is designed to be an international race, with the objectives of attracting foreign students and out of state runners to visit MesaMall and Nilai town.

- For 35km category, the runners must have completed a few races of a minimum distance on 10km trail run a few times in order to be qualified for registration.
- For 8km & 15km category, the runners must have experience in hiking or at least completed a 5km fun run.
- The Race Director reserves the right to reject any application without giving any reason.
